Samlex SDC-30 DC to DC Converter: 30 Amp


The SDC30 converter is used to drop a 24 volt DC source to a regulated 12 volt DC source. Uses include construction equipment, heavy trucks, buses, marine applications, military vehicles, etc., or any other 24 volt DC system. 12 volt radios (communications), lighting, stereos, GPS devices, sonar, depth finders, etc. are some of the applications, where current draw is below 30 amps (about 360 watts). This unit has a surge of 35 amps, and is fan cooled. The Samlex converters are highly efficient switchmode devices with suitable electronic protections.
