The Quick Charge Select-A-Charge Portable chargers feature one touch programming that allows these chargers to charge deep cycle, wet starting, gel, and AGM batteries with precision. Also programmable is the gassing mode, and recycle times when in shut off mode. The 2 digit LED display shows percent of charge in the battery, and battery voltage. Float voltage is temperature compensated. These units are DC current limiting and polarity protected. They are energy efficient, up to 25% more so than ferroresonant chargers. Best of all, they are made in the USA, and have a 3 year warranty. They can be used for electric vehicles, industrial carts, floor scrubbers, pallet jacks, golf carts, personnel movers, or any industrial application requiring a heavy duty portable charger. They come with alligator clips, or an appropriate industrial connector. This 156 volt 15 amp is built to order by the manufacturer, so allow about a week lead time. 230 VAC input only.

Selectable Charge Profiles

FLOAT - True GELS and starting batteries in standby. Float (179.4 v).

GAS and TIMED SHUT OFF - Deep cycle batteries, wet, frequently used. Absorption (198.9 v), shut off.

GAS and FLOAT - Deep cycle batteries, wet, infrequently used. Absorption (198.9 v), float (176.28 v).

AGM - AGM, sealed lead acid batteries. Absorption (189.54 v), float (176.28 v).

Quick Charge Battery Chargers

We've been aware of Quick Charge Corporation for a while, but haven't had the time to look at their chargers for application coverage, quality, warranty, and charge profiles. You know we like US built products, as hard as they are to find in some markets. Quick Charge builds all their units in the USA, and stands behind them. The charge profiles they offer indicate an understanding of battery manufacturer recommendations, and good battery management. Most of the models have selectable profiles to accomodate the battery types. They also offer high amp models and voltages previously unavailable in our lineup, such as Electric Vehicle (EV) market chargers, and high end industrial applications.

Most of their chargers we will offer will have a float mode, for long term battery management. A few will shut off and monitor battery voltage, reinitiating a charge cycle if required. We have access to all their models, so if you want something that isn't listed, give us a call.
