Quick Charge Aircraft APU and Battery Charger

12 Volt and 24 volt Models (14 and 28 Volt APU)

The Quick Charge Aircraft APU and charger supplies filtered DC bus power when the master switch is activated. A must for checking aircraft controls and avionics. Also has a 10 amp battery charger setting that functions through the APU receptacle. DC ammeter, and digital voltmeter indicators. Output is current limited, and will withstand starting loads. Voltage is limited to prevent battery overcharging. They are energy efficient, up to 25% more so than ferroresonant chargers. The 12 volt (14 volt APU) comes with the round Piper connector, and the 24 volt (28 volt APU) units come with the red 3 pin lexan plug. Best of all, they are made in the USA. These are built to order by the manufacturer, so allow about a week lead time.

Quick Charge Battery Chargers

We've been aware of Quick Charge Corporation for a while, but haven't had the time to look at their chargers for application coverage, quality, warranty, and charge profiles. Now we have. You know we like US built products, as hard as they are to find in some markets. Quick Charge builds all their units in the USA, and stands behind them. The charge profiles they offer indicate an understanding of battery manufacturer recommendations, and good battery management. Most of the models have selectable profiles to accomodate the battery types. They also offer high amp models and voltages previously unavailable in our lineup, such as Electric Vehicle (EV) market chargers, and high end industrial applications.

Most of their chargers we will offer will have a float mode, for long term battery management. A few will shut off and monitor battery voltage, reinitiating a charge cycle if required. We have access to all their models, so if you want something that isn't listed, give us a call.
